Cheesy Brussels Sprouts

On our quest to try new vegetables, I came across this recipe for brussels sprouts. I had never really eaten brussels sprouts before and what better way to try them than with bacon and cheese!? I'd love to know how you make your brussels sprouts--leave me your favorite recipes in the comments below!

  • 5 slices of bacon
  • 1-2 tablespoons of bacon grease
  • 16 oz. Brussels Sprouts
  • 6 oz. Cheddar Cheese

  1. Cook the bacon until crisp {firmly pat dry immediately after to help it become crunchy} and then cut or crumble into small pieces
  2. Wash the Brussels sprouts and shred with a food processor or finely dice
  3. Fry brussels sprouts in some of the leftover bacon grease
  4. Once the brussels sprouts are starting to turn crisp and translucent, add the bacon and cheese, cooking until combined.
